4. A car crash. In real life, it doesn't come with the drama, suspense or background music like in the movies. Ironically, thats what makes it the worst sound ever. You expect a warning or the scene to cut to a protagonist's baffled face or something. Instead its just a brief screech of tires, maybe some shattering of glass, and a loud bang. Afterwards it takes you a couple of seconds to realize what had happened, and when you do, its the stuff of nightmares.
