What subreddit do you wish existed?

  1. /r/PrimarySources A news subreddit generated exclusively by non-journalists (self-posts only) where people who witnessed events of (potentially historical) significance first-hand upload pictures of it they took from their phones and document their experience. The accuracy might be difficult to moderate, but the general idea would be to capture how people who actually lived through some event felt during that experience.

  2. A subreddit that keeps track of all the subs that hate each other.
    — Kaeyne

  3. I wish that r/egrets was a sub for posting about your regrets, and then some egret enthusiast would come to the sub looking for bird pictures or whatever, and would be initially disappointed, but would then realize that they are in the perfect sub to talk about their disappointment

  4. /r/settlethisforme. It would be a sub where two users can post the details of an argument and the rest of reddit take sides to decide who's right. Edit: message from the /r/settlethisforme subreddit "AS IT APPEARS THE MODERATOR HERE IS AFK WHICH MEANS NO-ONE CAN TAKE CHARGE, THERES A NEW MODERATED SUBREDDIT OVER AT r/SettleThis4Me SAME CONCEPT ONLY FOLKS ARE LOOKING AFTER IT. SEE YOU THERE."

  5. /r/badcomputeranatomy. It would be a sub devoted to finding funny moments in tv and movies where someone shows obvious lack of knowledge of how computers work. Like a combination of badfemaleanatomy and techsupportgore.
    — captainkuroi

  6. /r/findmefood When you travel you can ask locals what places are good
    — AirborneCh0de

  7. r/redditjeopardy It's like the opposite of AskReddit. The post title is an answer people comment what the question could be.
    — TheBlackestLotus

  8. /r/ParanormalShopBattles. Like /r/photoshopbattles, except it's people trying to create convincing fake photos of UFOs, ghosts, and other paranormal things.
    — captainmagictrousers

  9. /r/modsbeingdicks Pretty much all forum moderators (not just on Reddit) that I've interacted with have been dicks. I'd like to see other people's horror stories.
    — Kukulkun

  10. A sub, maybe call it r/HowWouldYouWriteThis where a person can post phrases, sentences, even paragraphs, and other people can edit or rewrite in their own style. As writers, we sometimes see only our way of writing a passage. Seeing other people’s flavors would be interesting. Edit: just created r/inyourwords ~~You are all~~ ~~Everyone welcome.~~ ~~Come come.~~ ~~Halp!~~ Hope r/inyourwords can become a place where we can learn from each other, become better writers, and have some fun.

  11. r/talesfromthewedding I just want a place with all bridezillas, MILs in white dresses and bad speeches in r/talesfromretail style.
    — IaKoa

  12. /r/imveryquirky It would be like /r/iamverysmart , except it showcases people who want to show off how "quirky" they think they are. Edit: misspelled "quirky"
