What matters when you’re 15 but becomes stupid when you’re in your twenties?
- A three year age difference. 15 and 12 vs 24 and 21, so so different
— Taodragons
- High school.
— Kain0wnz
- Trying to get the cool kids to like you
— vogdswagon26
- Using what kind of music you listen to to determine who you hang out with.
— WaitYAmIHere
- Baseball or any sport you play thinking you are great at it
— remarqer
- Name brand clothes

- Drugs and being "hard."
Teens--you want to be the dude who's "on all da drugz" and is a "felon"
Twenties--you don't want to "still" be that dude, but you still want to "have stories" about "partying too hard" and "getting into trouble" when you were younger
Thirties--You realize that all of those things are stupid to brag about. None of that is remotely cool anymore and no one cares.

- Thinking that you're a better/smarter person if you attend a specific university. I went to school for free and have had a great career. At 17 I was embarrassed by going to a state school but after I started my real world life, I realized it didn't matter at all!

- GCSEs. When I was 15 they were the biggest deal. Meaning no disrespect to anyone who stopped school at 16, but I can’t remember the last time anyone asked me for my grades.

- Drinking booze on the sly. Sneaking it past your parents. Instead of a rebellious youth, you become the closest alcoholic.
— ZoiSarah
- Worrying whether your parents will approve of any given personal choice you make.
