What makes your shower routine different from others?
- I rarely shower alone. My SO and I generally shower together. We save some money and time doing it that way. Plus it is just nice.
— Liar_tuck
- I have Christmas lights draped over my medicine cabinet. I use them instead of the bright light.
— chuckjr
- I do all the shower things in 3 minutes and than think about the meaning of life for about 17 minutes
— chinchilla_lird
- I don't think anyone's said this yet, but I brush my teeth in the shower.
I was never taught dental hygiene as a kid... So as a teen I had to somehow remember to brush my teeth and it was a hard habit to start - so I put it in the shower not to forget.
That totally worked but now I well and truly associate showers with brushing teeth haha

- I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

- I control my thermostat with an app on my phone. I set an alarm to turn on the heater. Go back to sleep. Then by the time I have to get up and shower I have a warm room and bathroom. That way when I get out of the shower I'm not freezing my nuts off

- I get clean in about fifteen minutes and then freeze because the hot water is gone after seven. I imagine that’s what being a snowman feels like.
— electricwalrus13
- I like to sit down when I shower.
— Chili_Flakes
- You know how in most animes (for me it's DBZ) there's a dude just sitting under a water fall and acting like he doesn't care he's chilling under a waterfall....I guess meditating. I do this in the shower and call it The Piccolo.
— Nobodygrotesque
- I'm not sure if this is a thing, but after I turn off the water, I stay in the shower and spend 15 or 20 seconds wiping water off myself to minimize the amount of water I drip on the floor.
— NiggerPancakes
- I don't shower but I bathe every morning. I wake up fairly early and work out, then I fill out the tub with hot water, put in some bath salts, put on some music and relax for half an hour or so.
— mikkeldaman
- I take long showers, a lot of which is spent just sitting and letting the hot water cascade over me while I contemplate my own existence.
