Atheists and others who don't believe in a form of afterlife, how do you accept death?


  1. Reality doesn't change just because you don't like it. I just try to avoid dying. Generally good advice, I find.

  7. What do you mean by "accept"? I mean, I realize that there is such a phenomenon as death and that it happens to everyone. I accept that it exists. I'm not ready or willing to die though, in fact I'm pretty afraid of dying. Does that mean I don't accept death?

  8. I embrace life before death. It is the only life we have good evidence for. If there is another life we will have to deal with it when we get there.
