5. It really depends what's threatening my life. Do I have a terminal illness with no reasonable chance of recovery? I would want to die as peacefully as possible, "saving" my life at that point is irrelevant, because I don't see any life in that situation worth living. If I have a treatable illness and will most likely live a reasonably normal life afterwards, I will do whatever it takes to get there. If someone has a gun to my head and wants me to perform a heinous act (like murder, torture or rape), I would say "no, just kill me".
