  6. I have been getting into carpentry because I want to be able to repair and build stuff so I can save money and be a DIY master.

  7. If you have a little money to get started, photography is a really fun hobby that you and those around you will appreciate for a long time. I always bring my camera and take pics at family get togethers, or when I am invited to someone else's family event. Taking a few good pics, editing them, using an online company to make a nice print and giving it as a gift to people is awesome. Best 5$ gift ever.

  12. You don't have to necessarily get into weight lifting but learn to take care of your body. Just because you can eat an entire cake and not gain weight doesn't mean you should. It'll come back to bite you later. Get in the habit of healthy food choices and exercise now. Take your vitamins and make sure you take care of your inside health, not just focusing on getting the 6 pack and calorie counting. You also need to take care of your mental health. If you have problems, talk with someone. You don't want to deal with issues when they're worse because you've suppressed them for 30 years.

  14. Investing. Buying and selling stocks is actually cheap and pretty easy to do. There are apps out there like RobinHood that not only let you buy/sell for free without transaction fees, they will freaking GIVE YOU FREE STOCKS to get started with (find someone who has it and ask them for a referral link, sign up with that link, and both you and the person who gives it to you will get free stocks). I have RobinHood (and yes, I'll send a referral link to anyone that wants one), and it makes it so damned easy to just buy a stock here and there whenever you have some spare cash and build up a portfolio on your own that you control.
