Gay people of reddit, what stereotypes about the gay community are actually pretty accurate?

  1. That finding sex is easy. I’m a bi dude. If I want to go out with or bang a woman, I really gotta work at it for a while. If I wanna go out with or hook up with a dude, I can find that on various apps within just an hour or two.

  2. Lesbians move pretty fast in relationships and tend to move in together very early when dating.

  3. My ex girlfriend was a lesbian who just loved home depot. I ended up loving it as well and we brought the dog there every Sunday. She also moved in with me after 3 months. So many stereotypes are true for some people lol.

  4. The small dog thing. I have a chihuahua and he has two winter coats.

  5. Gay men have a lot of sex and many sexual partners. Some of their current friends are exes or ex-fuck buddies. Many gay male relationships are open.

  6. My mom is a lesbian (older lesbian who grew up in 60s/70s). The "butch" woman is totally true and a lot of lesbians are "moms" to young adults. They love taking care of people and giving homespun advice.

  7. Properties tend to be nicer/well kept in the local LGBT neighborhood.
