Former kids of Reddit, what were the fidget spinners when you were growing up?


  1. Virtual pets. For a hot minute they were fucking everywhere.

  2. Slap bracelets. Everyone in school had a dozen or so each but they eventually got banned I think because if the material frayed, the metal beneath had sharp edges.

  5. Pogs? They were quite trendy. But I'm the 90's ADHD was just beginning to be acknowledged so all we had was Ritalin and detention/failing grades. My mom was a special ed teacher and she had some tools and tricks but they were mostly homemade.
