  6. My family and I have been traveling through the England this summer. One of the most surprising things is how accomadating the people have been towards people with disabilities. My brother has downs syndrome and everyone we have met has been kind to him and has helped us find elevators/lifts or has given us shortcuts to get places. It's also really impressive how many places in the England have discounts for disabled people and their caretakers. There may be places like that in the US but it's much more noticeable and advertised here. The people we have met are very kind in general, but I've been very impressed by how accomadating people are with people with disabilities.
