What fucked up movie, game, book, comic, etc. do you recommend?
- Watch Oldboy and enjoy feeling dirty for a couple of days.

- Neon Genesis Evangelion. Starts off as a generic mecha anime but gets more and more fucked the longer you watch

- I'll have to go with Spec Ops: The Line.
It starts off as a generic shooter, but quickly takes a turn that makes you question your own moral compass. I won't go into specific spoilers but it's definitely worth checking out.
One feature I will comment on is how the load screens text changes as you progress. It goes from simple, cookie cutter flavor text to 4th wall breaking comments to you, the player.

- Threads. Set about 40 years ago in the UK. Intense film about nuclear war and what would happen to civilians etc. Goes from hours after attack all the way to about 20 years after.

- The Binding of Isaac:Rebirth. It's such a messed up game with a hidden story about religious abuse. It's also super fun.

- 'The Long Walk' by Stephen King
For those that don't know, it's about 100 kids who have to keep walking faster than 4 mph. Once they fall below 4 mph they get a warning. Three warnings and they are out. Though if they go an hour without a warning, they will get a warning taken off if they have one.

- Black Mirror is a tv show that is pretty screwed up at times. The first ep is quite a shocker but it's an amazing show

- Haunted, by Chuck Palahniuk. It's got some fucked up shit in it, but it also has some of the best short story writing I've ever read.
Feel free to skip the "Guts" chapter. I've seen and read some messed up stuff before, but this takes the cake.
