Owners or subscribers of (generally) dead subreddits, why do you believe more people should check the subreddit out?

  1. /r/agedtattoos/ because I want to get a realistic impression of what a tattoo will look like after a few years. I see lots of pictures of awesome tattoos being posted in the tattoo sub, but they're usually completely fresh.
    — Lilebi

  2. /r/catfishing because it's not about online dating and we like for people to post pictures of the actual catfish they catch.
    — DirtyGhettoOmelette

  3. Mod over at r/howneatisthat Sure, my job was to resurrect it but it's just a copy of r/mildlyinteresting so I gave up. But hey, you can check it out. It's pretty neat.
    — Thelolmobile11

  4. r/redditwritesvsauce It can honestly lead to some great and funny threads. We could probably write an actual episode if more partook in it.
    — MattTheGamer20

  5. /r/raisedbygreatparents I read /r/raisedbynarcissists a lot. My wife was. I, however, was raised by great parents. I want to hear stories of awesome things parents have done.

  6. /r/siblingsupport is meant for the siblings of people with disabilities. I feel like the need for a subreddit like that is pretty big and yet there really aren't a lot of forums for it. I found that talking to kids and adults who didn't have a similar background was always challenging and that conversations would run into experience gaps that would become tedious to explain. And there were only so many kids with similar families that I was good enough friends with to talk about that kind of thing. But it's dead.

  7. Not a moderator, but **/r/MakeYourChoice**. Remember **Choose Your Own Adventures**? You played a character in a book and decided all the big choices? Those were so popular some time ago, but they're still kind of around. /r/MakeYourChoice has more of "Create" Your Own Adventures. Here's a good starter one: [Order vs Chaos](https://i.imgur.com/ApcMnnr_d.jpg?maxwidth=6400&shape=thumb&fidelity=high): Choose one out of twentyish characters to play as, and imagine an adventure with it. Friends are encouraged to play. Build a [Battlemage](https://imgur.com/a/M5C1C). Choose spells and equipment, and decide on a mission to defend "Ziona" from the "Detritus." Possibly the most famous CYOA: [Stardust](https://imgur.com/gallery/MeOEM). Construct a spaceship; choose modules and skills, companions, and explore a deep universe. Rule a kingdom in [Eternal's Rising](http://imgur.com/a/YrBxl). Has magic and stuff, and you get to follow your life from the age of child to adult. Build a kingdom, from the grounds up, in an **interactive** [Magic Realm CYOA](https://mrcyoa.000webhostapp.com). Want to be a superhero or villain in Worm? Here's [possibly the best](https://m.imgur.com/a/jypS4). There's also another one -- it isn't as well liked because it is terribly overpowered and not balanced well at all, [but is still a classic.](https://m.imgur.com/a/CaVa4) Want something a bit longer? Go to /r/Jumpchain! Prepare yourself for hundreds of fictional universes -- Marvel and DC, Overwatch, Terraria, maybe Rocket League no idea how that would work, Star Wars, Worm, and a ton of others. Keep you stuff in between each one and grow more powerful, as long as you don't die -- eventually you can aspire to take on 40k or Dragon Ball Z, the peak of power you can get to. 20

  8. /r/explainlikeimapeasant Because it's pretty funny
    — Barack-YoMama

  9. /r/hellsomememes is pretty good when someting is posted. It's like /r/wholesomememes but everything has to do with the devil in some way.
    — armoowasright

  10. r/explainthisscreen is pretty fun. You take a screenshot from a cartoon without context at it's strangest and ask people to explain what it could be of in the comments. Like [this](https://40.media.tumblr.com/ea6cc8920163304f9f335eb902de321e/tumblr_nd3loyDp6M1rn09mgo1_500.png) for example. what the fuck is this supposed to be? you tell me.

  11. Still subbed to r/bioniclememes. I know they may not be a hot meme right now, but I still find them great on the whole
    — BenjewminUnofficial

  12. This is only technically a thing because I hit the create button, but I have one called r/AskPeriodicTable. I had thought it'd be funny if I made a r/askouija parody where you replied in periodic symbols and everyone made obscure science references, so I went ahead and made it. Currently sits at two subscribers. I wish it was more of a real thing. Edit: Hey, thanks for the extra 5 subs I guess!

  13. /r/musics_stories because some people believe different things about what our favorite songs mean, and sometimes that can be funny. Other people love doing research and finding out what the writer meant. It's great to see how music influences people.
