4. It really does irritate me when people say that to me, but lately I've just been answering, "I'm just a quiet person," and people really respect that. The last time I responded with that, another person chimed in and said, "that's okay, there's nothing wrong with being quiet," and I just really appreciated that. It's nice when everyone is civil about it.
