Adults of Reddit, what is something you want to ask teenagers of Reddit?
- What is the general view on smoking among teenagers?
— rben69
- Where are yall getting so much xanax from?
— TotesNotBrainwashed
- I'm not seeing as many knocked up 13 to 18 yr. old girls like I used to. Is it because kids got wiser about birth control?
— russianout
- Are you laughing at me? I saw you laughing at something... was it me?
— shorty6049
- What annoys you about us older folk?
Also, what are we doing right?
— apple_kicks
- Whats the 2017 equivalent of goth kids or emo kids?
EDIT: Apparently all the cool kids hang out at/r/teenagers
— shitpost-scrub
- How in the fuck are you so good at FPSs? I have played these games my entire life.
Also, why the fuck are you so mean when we are on the same team?
I mean yes, I should have made that shot, but no need to berate me with various forms of the word, noob.
I MEAN WE ARE COMRADES, HONESTLY
— randoreds
- What does it mean when you wear the hood of your hoodie *only on the back half of your head?* Why not commit to full hood?
Edit: Most popular answer: to retain peripheral vision. Why don't our young people have access to hats? Unknown.
— graintop
- How can I better communicate with you?
Seriously, I feel like every time I try and engage my teenager, I get either lies, or monosyllabic responses.
How can I better help with your depression/anxiety?
I get that life is hard for you right now, but I can't do anything to fix things if I don't understand the problem from your viewpoint.
(Sorry, frustrated dad trying to help a frustrated teen here)
Edited to add: I want to thank those who gave constructive feedback, even if it was something I didn't really want to hear. It's appreciated.

- Teenage girls - how are you so good at makeup so soon?
The rest of us had to endure years excessive glitter, awful eyeshadow choices and shimmery baby pink lipstick before we figured it out. Teenagers now just seem to instinctively know how to contour and do brows!
