Whats harder to accept as you get older ?

  1. Watching your parents get old is very hard to accept when you get older. Not much can prepare you for that.

  2. It becomes more difficult to make new friends as you age. Older friends may move away, get married, become involved with family, children and work, and drift apart as time goes by.

  4. That chronic pain is real and depressing but no one wants to hear you talk about it, so you carry on.

  5. Your own mortality. I never thought about my own end as a kid, but now, even in my 20s I feel like life is too short and I know there’s no possible way I’ll get to do everything I want to.

  6. That maybe you are the reason that you feel alone

  7. Warming up. At 50, I can still skateboard and ride wheelies on my bike and stuff, but if I don't stretch? I'm going to fuck something up. In the morning, I have to get the blood moving around and not just jump out of bed. Again, something is going to get pulled if I just run to the kitchen like a 12 year old. Grunting happens. I don't know what it is, but every time I change a major body position I have to grunt. Bending over, seated to standing, reach something high.... grunt grunt grunt.

  9. That people as a whole are a whole lot more ego centered then either you or them would want to admit. That you, yourself have these traits too.
