  6. Part of being gay is realizing your straight friends you've fallen in love with will never return the same feelings. It sucks and it hurts but we do it to ourselves. If I told a straight friend I was in love with him, as long as he didn't flip out and cut ties I think it'd be ok. I'd be sad and hurt but not nearly as badly as if I'd lost a friend too. But I don't think I could ever do that, tell a straight friend I loved him. It's obviously not going to work out so it's a little selfish to jeopardize our friendship so I can take a chance on him being bi...and interested.
