People of Reddit, what's the most Millennial thing you've seen somebody do?

  1. I was at Starbucks when a girl came up and asked my girlfriend if she could borrow her drink for a second because it looked more picture perfect than hers for Instagram.

  2. I know a barista at starbucks with a BA and like 35k in student debt. That's pretty millennial of him.

  3. My wife made me get all "dressed up" to go to a dive bar with the reason being that we're going to take an Instagram picture together.
    — liquorlanche

  4. Starve I was doing a road trip with my millennial cousin. The Interstate exits were littered with Applebee's, Red Lobsters, Cracker Barrells and other decidedly unhip options and she refused to stop at any of them, on the hopes that a fast-casual dining option like Chipotle would pop up eventually. We ended up going to bed hungry at the room we found on AirBnB.

  5. I know a millennial married couple, one works three part time jobs and one works one full time job. They're looking for a roommate so they can afford a nice apartment.

  6. Heard an ad about a 420 yoga studio. Opens at 4:20pm too.
    — Mein_Captian

  7. Considering eloping because weddings are so freaking expensive (this is my life right now)
    — coffeeordeath85

  8. I recently suggested to a friend that we should go and take the yoga classes at our city's cat cafe... Only slightly ashamed.
    — cherkhan

  9. Swearing off marriage forever. I think us baby boomers set a bad example in that department.
    — Scrappy_Larue

  10. Moving back in with their parents after university. Happened to quite a lot of friends.
    — Y_ROR

  11. I knew a guy who said "I refuse to go to Applebee's because I want to kill the entire chain! Muahahaha!" And then he does this evil mustache twirl.

  12. Guy I worked with was all nuts for Bernie Sanders. Ended up not voting at all. That's pretty millennial. Clarification: he did not vote in the general election.
    — tacoenthusiast

  13. Just so we're all on the same page, millenials are people born between the early 80s and the late 90s, so like college seniors through to mid-30s adults. It's not a catch all term for young people that you hate.
