What's your go-to party/potluck food?

  1. Buffalo chicken dip!

  2. Thai/Vietnamese fresh rolls. Super easy to make in large quantities. Vermacelli, cilanto, lettuce, pork/shrimp, chopped red cabbage, cucumber, shredded or julienned carrotts, rice paper, spicy peanut sauce to dip. Fucking delicious.

  3. jalapeno poppers, filled with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon

  4. I make a mean guacamole. The trick is to not overdo it with a laundry list of ingredients. Stick to the essentials: * Avocados. Nice and ripe and squishy. * Lime juice. Squeeze the limes first, then squish the avocados in there. The lime will keep the avocado from turning brown. * Chopped red onion * Diced tomatos * Salt, pepper, a wee bit of chilli powder

  5. Lumpia, crowd pleaser in every party I've been to, had people actually pay us to bring it Filipino spring rolls. My mom makes it with ground beef and pork, carrots, onion, garlic, and an assortment of mystery ingredients that she won't reveal to me until she's on her death bed. Delicious with sweet and sour sauce

  8. Hot crab dip. Take two cans of crab meat, one brick of softened cream cheese, Old Bay, a couple heavy doses of Worcestershire sauce and your favorite hot sauce, a handful of chopped green onions and Old Bay. Mix well. Add more Old Bay. Throw it in a small Dutch oven and bake at 350 till hot. Take the lid off, add Old Bay, cover the surface with grated cheese and Old Bay, and broil until the cheese is browned. Top with Old Bay. Serve with taco chips and Old Bay. It's easy, it's delicious, people love it. ^^Old ^^Bay.
