What grammatical rule do most people get wrong?


  1. I, love how, some people on Reddit, use commas.

  2. It always surprised me when I come across adults who still don't understand the difference between there, their, and they're. Especially professionals working in an office sending emails every day.

  4. You know how people always correct you when you say things like "me and Phil went to party" with "no no...'phil and I went to the party'" Sometimes it's "Me" and people don't get that anymore. i.e. "He stood between Phil and me"

  6. "The reason is because..." It should be, "The reason is that..." And here's a very annoying new one, "The reason is is..." There is absolutely no way the is should be repeated except that people have gotten into a sloppy speech pattern.
