  13. I have only one life. It's like a video game to me. I need to do something with this life not because there's a higher meaning to it but just because I want a high score. Whether that's money, financial might, good family, good job, great friends, or extraordinary experiences. I want it all just because why the fuck not. You only have about ~80 years. Tick tock you're the product of maybe the rarest form of evolution. Conscious life. Go and win the day. That's what gets me out of bed.

  14. My three year old announces loudly from his baby gate every morning "MOMMY I CAME BACK!!!!!!!" So reluctantly I get out of bed. Then the dog immediately gives me the "lets go for a walk look" so I dress my three year old, put on shoes and we go for our morning walk. We have to say hello to EVERY statue and make the appropriate noises (There is a rooster statue we cocka-doodle-doo at every morning for example). It's hilarious and even if I wake up feeling grumpy by the end of that walk I'm smiling.
