- I have only one life. It's like a video game to me. I need to do something with this life not because there's a higher meaning to it but just because I want a high score. Whether that's money, financial might, good family, good job, great friends, or extraordinary experiences. I want it all just because why the fuck not. You only have about ~80 years. Tick tock you're the product of maybe the rarest form of evolution. Conscious life. Go and win the day.
That's what gets me out of bed.

- My three year old announces loudly from his baby gate every morning "MOMMY I CAME BACK!!!!!!!" So reluctantly I get out of bed. Then the dog immediately gives me the "lets go for a walk look" so I dress my three year old, put on shoes and we go for our morning walk. We have to say hello to EVERY statue and make the appropriate noises (There is a rooster statue we cocka-doodle-doo at every morning for example). It's hilarious and even if I wake up feeling grumpy by the end of that walk I'm smiling.
