What superpower is actually a curse?

  1. There's a mutant in the Marvel universe that couldn't control his power to.. if I remember correctly, spontaneously combust everyone around him. He supposedly killed his family, and ran away. Wolverine was the only one that didn't die from his power, and ended up putting him out of his misery

  2. Superman once described everyday life as "living in a world of cardboard". I'd find that very tedious.

  3. After watching The Incredibles, I'd have to say super strength is a curse in most normal settings.

  4. Full immortality. Eventually, you're going to be spending eternity in the vacuum of space or in a black hole like "well, this is a bit shit"

  5. Rogue was my favorite character as a kid and I thought they did a great job with her. Sure, you can fly and have super strength and pretty much any other super power you really want, but you're going to kill/put into a coma/erase the memories of anyone you ever touch. Have fun with the psychological issues that come from completely incapacitating your childhood sweetheart and don't allow you any form of physical comfort for the rest of your life!

  6. Read peoples mind, seriously it must be depressing

  7. Knowing how long everyone has left to live

  8. Super strength. Imagine getting excited and losing control of your power. You could high five a guy's hand off or hug your so to death

  9. Being super intelligent is generally a good power to a point, after that you often lose the ability to relate to normal people and form meaningful relationships. There was also an X-Men character whose mutant ability allowed him to radiate toxins that killed everything organic within a certain distance, and he could not control this power at all.
