- It doesn't feature much in the movies, but my favorite fighter from the Star Wars universe, particularly in some of the video games, is the B-Wing.
— tylerss20 - The original interceptor from Mad Max. The appeal is that with enough money I could have one built.
— f0k4ppl3 - The warthog
— spkincaid13 - Yoshi.
— PierogiD - Do iron man suits count?
— bustead - Normandy SR-2 from Mass Effect
— RazgrizN7 - The Heart of Gold from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is awesome. Improbability Drive.
— supremedalek925 - Millenium Falcon. Every design choice was unique and a real 180 on traditional depiction of "space ships".
— GJacks75 - The Magic School Bus
— Gama88 - Kaneda’s bike from Akira
— Pyrhhus - This car that was designed by homer in the one simpson episode
— Cooli_McSwagboi - Two come to mind. As a kid especially I always wanted a landspeeder from A New Hope. There are a million cooler vehicles but this one always captured my imagination as it felt so plausible compared to other Star Wars vehicles. Simple but undeniably cool, I always wanted one.
But the one that forever holds top spot for me is Spike's ship, Swordfish II, from Cowboy Bebop. What's not to love? In a show dripping with style and cool, this ship stands out. Like a streamlined X-wing almost that was designed ostensibly as a space Formula 1 race car, but Spike equips it with guns and an enormous laser cannon. To me there is no cooler sci-fi character than Spike and this ship is the perfect vehicle for him. The mix of futuristic and analogue technology is one of the things I love most about Cowboy Bebop and this ship is basically the embodiment of that aesthetic.
