What's the spookiest 'dead' subreddit?

  1. /r/OurOverUsedVeins/ A sub for heroin addicts. It got banned and unbanned at some point, its community mostly moved to other subs. Pretty tough stuff to read, keeping in mind that a big part of its former userbase might be dead by now.

  2. r/TheGuy People attempting to find out more about this man with strange mouse/human dolls
    — TOOMANYENEMIES64

  3. There was this sub /r/A858DE45F56D9BC9 where everyday when it was opened to the public there would be a post of a [page full of just blocks of numbers like this](https://i.imgur.com/d3bnkvA.png). Obviously it was some crypto code thing. And tons of cryptographers and college students attempted to decipher it. etc etc. Heres an article about it. https://kernelmag.dailydot.com/issue-sections/features-issue-sections/16682/a858-reddit-codebreaking-cypher-mystery/

  4. r/deadhaven the rabbit hole goes so deep on this one. I have no fucking clue what it's about I've tried to read into it and fallow the clues and posts in the sub and in the related subs but its just so weird.

  5. I don't know about 'spooky', but /r/reddit was banned for rule violation seven years ago and god damn it I want to know the story behind it.
    — AccioSexLife

  6. I once got invited to subreddit where users were referred to numbers. I was number 9 or something and everyone on that sub was allowed to post stuff. Most threads were just about confused people what is this place. There was sticky which named users who have been invited on that sub. After a week/month I got kicked from there and new wave of users were invited there. That was weird af
