  3. I used to think I was dreadfully ugly, then I burned and was disfigured. Now when I see old photos of myself, I think I wasn't ugly at all. It took some getting used to, but I've adjusted to my new look. Sometimes it is difficult to see it, but my scars are beautiful to me now, because they remind me of how strong I am. One day I was very unhappy about how I look, especially my very disfigured hands. That same day as I drove to my physio appointment, I saw a beggar at the traffic light, and he had no arms. That really sorted my bad attitude out once and for all, because the fact that both my hands work is a miracle.

  4. I have the exact kind of nose I don't select on characters when building one in an RPG. It's not worth getting a nose job or anything though, it's just a bit annoying.

  5. I think I am really good looking, I just think other people don’t think so
    — ChaoticAcid

  6. I catch myself slouching when I walk past glass walls or doors and I think “God I look lazy”. I think I look really unattractive in those moments so I’m trying to improve my posture.

  7. My body, mostly. I’m very uncomfortable in it and it’s to the point where I feel uncomfortable going to the gym.

  8. I am generally ok with how I look, but there are a few little things that bug me, like skin imperfections. I hate moles, I want to get the few I have on my back removed but it's not covered by my insurance so it works be expensive. I have super ugly feet and I hide them a lot. I don't like my double chin, unless I'm very very thin (which I haven't been in a long time) it's always there. Noticing little things that make me feel old or look tired are frustrating.

  9. I like to think I'm fairly attractive accept for one thing. I had a problem with self harm as a teenager which has resulted in many scars across my arms. I try to hope that people don't notice it but it is impossible to hide without wearing long sleeve shirts. Thankfully it has been about four years since I last cut myself but a lot of the problems I had then still remain to this day. The fact that I still have these scars does not do anything to help my self esteem or social anxiety.
