What's a skill or hobby that you're dying to get into but have no idea where to start? Redditors familiar to the subject, where do you recommend starting out?
- I would love to get into 2d animation but I always get really frustrated when this split second just doesn't feel right
— Pamplemousse998 - weight lifting. Plenty of gyms around, school has an after school weights club, but I'm just too shy to join a group of dudes on my own, especially with my limp noodle arms. I also would love someone to go to the gym with me, but I'm too scared to ask any of my friends.
— motheroftuna - Cosplaying. I love the idea of creating cosplays, but it’s fucking hard to learn
— DancemasterOrnstein - Glass blowing, looks incredibly difficult but also something I could see myself enjoying if I got the opportunity to learn.
— notkathy56 - Writing. I have ideas for stories but I just can't put them in form.
— Louis_Ascor - Being able to keep a POS car maintained and running. Or just mechanical skills in general
— Curious_Orange_ - Audio engineering. I'm not trying to go to college for it i just want to learn it so my own music can sound professional
— Unkownfornow - Drawing, painting and digital painting
— shoshis - Investing, seems very daunting to get into...
— excelplshelp - Pottery! Like making pots for plants and such
— xtvryn - Electronics. I have a computer science degree and I am envious of those making physical stuff. Arduinos (sp?) seem pretty cool as well. I'm not sure what is possible with a light electronics hobby or where to begin...
— GAYBUMTRUMPET - Having a nice bullet journal. I don't have anything important to write inside and I have no skills in painting, drawing, arts in general
