Parents of pornstars/prostitutes, how did you react knowing your child career choice?

1. My wife’s cousin is a prostitute/escort in Silicon Valley. She was adopted from Ukraine almost ten years by my wife’s uncle and his now ex-wife. He found out about two years ago and his reaction was priceless; he was upset that she didn’t think to use him as her pimp! She then dumped her previous pimp and started having “dates” with typical tech guys in the area, all arranged by her adoptive dad. My mother in law repeatedly brings up what her brother and niece doing, but the rest of the family just ignores it all. Her cousin even had to appear in court after she was caught and the family still denies everything. The whole situation is pretty ridiculous.
