Greatest accomplishment: probably going back to school and finishing my university degree. In my early 20s I was struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, so I left school "for a year" which turned out to be seven. I ended up working full time and going to school part time until I finished.
Regret: waiting so long before taking steps to address my mental health problems. The insidious thing about depression is that it can make you feel like you don't deserve happiness or love, so you end up just sinking into apathy and acceptance of your situation rather than work towards changing it.

Greatest: Giving my sister a kidney. If I die tomorrow I'll know I've done something positive with my life.
Regret: Not breaking up with my gf of 8 years earlier. We both didn't love eachother anymore but stayed together because it was easy. On the plus side were still good friends now.

I made it. I got out of my abusive, mentally ill household. I survived sexual and physical abuse for years. I survived being homeless. I graduated high school and I'm about to get my degree in biochemistry this May. I have an internship now that continues on in to summer with a wonderful company. I made it out. I'm here. No one can take it away from me.
My one regret is how all my relationships have turned out. I made it, but it's lonely.

Greatest accomplishment: my 19th wedding anniversary is this year.
Regret: I have never followed up on anything that I had a talent for and have almost always taken the path of least resistance.

- I just turned 30.
My greatest accomplishment is that I married my wife and she’s way hotter than I thought I could have gotten(She’s also a wonderful person)
My biggest regret is that my Grandfather died when I was in high school and on his last night my mom told me to come over because he had fallen. I procrastinated leaving, I think in part because I was having a fight with my girlfriend at the time and it was consuming my mind. My mom called back and said that my uncle was there and that he helped get him back up. She said I didn’t have to come over and I mentioned that I had homework or something but I didn’t go over there and see him and I was very well able to. It taught me to spend as much time with family as possible because I am extremely lucky to actually even have a family and a support system because that may be the most valuable thing in life

My greatest accomplishment dates back to when I graduated from high school. I went through the full International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in high school, which was a pretty intensive, 2-year set of classes. I was able to pass them all, pass all of my exams, and graduated high school with both my high school diploma, and my I.B. diploma. I am very proud that I was able to stick with it, even though the volume of work was difficult or nearly impossible, at times.
My biggest regret is the choice I made when applying to colleges. I did not have the luxury of being able to visit places, and thought that I could get into some pretty good schools, but apparently overestimated my ability. My dad also did not want me to apply to as many schools as I had initially listed as desirable, because of application costs, and he very strongly wanted me to go to a state college or community college, work fulltime to pay tuition, and take out as little in loans as possible. I applied to mostly "reach" schools with one "safety" school, and only got waitlisted for one of my "reach" schools, declined by the rest, besides the "safety" school. Of course, I went to the safety school, did what my dad said, ended up working 40 hours a week, doing 16-18 credit hours a semester. I folded after about a year, and completely crumbled at the end of my second year. It was too much for me to handle, and I ended up dropping out. I also fell behind financially, so it really wasn't feasible to keep going without taking more loans out, but at that point, I was so burnt out that I didn't even want to do that. I regret screwing it all up and wish I could go back and re-do it.

- Forty seven. My greatest accomplishment is my children. I regret a great deal of the things I have done, but would change nothing, as it all led to my sons; and they are my greatest teachers of all.

Biggest accomplishment: Graduating high school. I know it's something most people can coast through while half-asleep, but I failed 2 grades due to severe, treatment-resistant depression, then skipped a grade for reasons unrelated to academic performance, and graduated a year late via some kind of miracle.
Biggest regret: I don't actually regret anything. I've fucked up before, but you can learn a lot from that. It adds tools to your toolbox so you can be more effective in the future.

My biggest accomplishment is recording an album worth of my songs and finally feeling confident enough to put it out there, even if not many people listen to it.
My biggest regret is not taking the time to talk to old friends. I miss some of them.
