Gamers of Reddit, what is your most despised location in any video game?
- The sewer. Pick any game with a sewer level. Yes, I hate that one.
— bdhw
- Underwater. I fuckin' hate water levels *so* much.
— qorakuya
- Literally any cave in a Pokemon game. Be ready to spend all your money on repels.
— josamo8
- Temple of the Ocean King from Phantom Hourglass. Fuck that place.
Also, probably the level in the 2003 Hulk game where you sneak into Alcatraz as Bruce Banner. It takes so long.
— MrRieper
- Spawning in the tundra right next to the Zulu.
— RekNepZ
- I always hated going to Wildlife preservation in Borderlands 2
— Drawsome209
- In Runescape, the area just outside Varrock where the dark mages are, or whatever they’re called. The amount of times I died going through that area when I was younger was just too much.

- Cortana, it is the second to last mission in Halo 3. It is long as fuck and repetitive, you feel like you are not making much progress plus the like 20 times either Cortana or the Gravemind decides to fuck with you during the mission.

- Not sure if anyone else felt this or I am just being dumb: when you first enter Vegas in Fallout NV, the area with the King quests and it's surroundings. There's about 5-6 small areas with loading screens between. It was so annoyingly slow and tedious to go anywhere in that area that it put me off playing the rest of the game.
— Jeggasyn
- The fade in Dragon age: Origins
— NikiFuckingLauda
- Jabu-Jabu's Belly
— HylianEevee
- The tightropey screaming 'nightmare' from Max Payne. Fuckers.
— milomcfuggin
- The damn Ratway in Skyrim. I've played the game for years, have over 700 hours on it, and I still get lost in there.
— PsychoPicasso
- Vault 34 in Fallout New Vegas. No matter how many times I play that game I always get lost in there
