What’s the ugliest part of your country?


  1. The ugliest part of the Philippines is the capital, metro Manila - upon landing you'll be greeted by the view of a slum area next to the airport. - airport itself sucks - traffic traffic everywhere - very densely packed cities - ugly mrt, highways etc. But if you hop off to another flight, you'll end up seeing one of the world's beautiful beaches, white sand, powdery soft, fishies and turtles swimming next to you, secret lagoons, beaches for surfing, wind surfing, etc etc So if you're ever coming to our country, skip the capital. Nothing to see here.

  2. I live near it actually, it is a huge industrial area with a nuclear reactor and lots of trash. It has officially been named ugliest place of the Netherlands.

  5. The capital I think. Don't get me wrong, Oslo is a pretty good looking city, but the rest of Norway is just spectacular in comparison (most of it). Every time I see tourist coming to Norway and only visiting Oslo I die a little inside.

  6. Naniwa (Osaka) is pretty shitty, and the entire prefecture of Saitama. Saitama is the Florida of Japan. Every time you hear of a trashy crime, surprise, it's in Saitama.

  10. The Urals and their industry. Don’t even get me started on the air quality: the first time I visited Moscow I wanted to vomit a bit, I can’t even imagine what it’s like in Chelyabinsk or somewhere even worse.
