- There was this government scheme in my state a few years ago where they would replace all of the light bulbs in the house with LED ones. It seemed so scammy. Someone just knocked on my door oneday out of the blue and offerd it.

- As far as I can tell so far, MoviePass. I keep waiting for the catch but it seems to be working great so far for me. Only have to go to the movies ten times a year for it to pay for itself and using it I’ve been going a couple times a week.

- Free car washes for one year if you buy a new or used car from a local dealer.
The dealership and local car wash have a "business arrangement" that apparently works because each recommends the other to potential customers.

I always expect to get given a small meal and have Jesus shoved down my throat, but not from some of the ones I've gone to. Pastor says hello, hands you a burger, and talks about life for a few minutes.
