What low paying job would you totally do if it paid more?
- In some regions in China it's possible to be paid to be white. You just sit around and look busy, take notes in meetings, pretend to work for some big shot who wants to look like an even bigger big shot. I even had a friend who was tasked with dressing up in a suit and making an entire bullshit speech which was then incorrectly translated into whatever the presenters wanted.

- I used to be a professional gardening expert. For a brief time before extra responsibilities were thrust upon me my job was to be in the store and know things.
Plant ID? Disease diagnosis and treatment? Bought your first home and don't know what you want but (obviously) have pictures of the new place including yard shots? Your tomatoes are being eaten by something that isn't you? You need a plant that says "Sorry your aunt died"?
Bring it on.
Customers even loved it when I admitted I didn't know and asked them to wait while I did some research on their particular situation. Not only did it lend weight to everything I was confident of, next time that question came up I'd already know.
It was lots of fun, but even as Department Head of Trees and Shrubs they only wanted to pay $10.60/hr
I make close to double that wiring network cables and the color code is printed on the equipment.

- Pizza Delivery. Best job I ever had except for the pay.
Edit: never to ever.

- I want to mow grass. I'd especially like to be on the grounds crew at a college, or somewhere like that with a large area to take care of. I could just pop in the headphones, then drive straight all day. It really is my dream job.

- Chef. Always loved and had the passion for food but every time I brought up doing it with family or friend they would always tell me that it was bad pay and horrid hours. I guess they were right.

- Medium foot-traffic coffee shop. One of my first jobs was as a barista, despite dealing with that one bitch every once in a while I learned to love it. The work wasn’t too stressful, I liked the upbeat environment and meeting people is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. If it paid more, I would.

- Barista. I love making coffee and I really enjoyed being a barista.

- I was a zamboni driver for a minor league hockey team which would have been great if it made more than 7.50/hr

- I used to want to be a music teacher but I also want to eat so.

- Grocery store shelf stocker.
It was my first full time job and it was nice, I started a few hours before it opened and got to listen to my discman while stocking shelves. It was very relaxing.
