  11. The question stayed on the screen, unwavering. "What video game do you consider to be a masterpiece?" Stanley waited for an answer. Perhaps, he reasoned, a memo would arrive with instructions for what he was meant to think. Surely he wouldn't be left to consider such things for himself. With a few motions of his finger, Stanley scrolled through some of the previous answers. "The Last of Us," he saw, and something called "Oblivion." Both were thrilling titles, he was certain, though the names meant nothing to him. Even so, he clicked the upward-facing arrows next to each response, hoping that the tiny action would help to provide him with some clue about his own opinion. Stanley suddenly came to a much longer comment. His eyes darted to its base, where a cryptic phrase had been written: "TL;DR: The Stanley Parable." The absurdity of seeing his own name on the page was almost too much for Stanley, and he let loose a light chuckle. Then, as he went back to read through the preceding paragraphs, a chill ran down his spine. The words were describing Stanley's very actions, up to the minute. In fact, as he continued to read, he realized that he was adhering to a predetermined series of events. This, thought Stanley, was impossible... and yet somehow familiar. For some bizarre reason, Stanley's mind was suddenly filled with an image of the broom closet down the hall. **TL;DR: The Stanley Parable.**
